J thank you sooo much for this tool !! I gave my laptop for maintenance and when it came back my "Fn" key wasn't working anymore, that means I can't do screenshots anymore !! So thank you so much for this tool, I need to do screenshots 100 times a day. Unfortunately I don't have a credit card, I can't donate. But I hope others will help you.

This app does exactly what it says. I don't know why the last review says different.

I'm sorry but this is *not* the windows snipping tool, but a 3rd party one. All this does is take a full screenshot, and then you crop out what you want. You can do that with print screen and paint. What we're really looking for is the features of the windows 8 version - crop before it captures, and save or copy right then and there.

Maybe compatibility with some other Windows would be good...

Great tool! I use this application everyday and it works great! Helps with productivity when using an OS that doesn't offer a snipping tool like Windows 7.

Very poor substitute for Win7 Snipping Tool.

Norton and PC shutdown problem solved. Seems Tool must be exited (right click on taskbar icon) to free PC for other apps. Rating as 4 star because of the function to XP - will be most useful to me!
